Every illustration project is unique, but many questions come up again. Here you'll find answers about my illustration process, collaboration, timelines and the way I work with publishers, art directors, brands and independent authors.

 

What kind of illustration projects do you work on?

I create custom illustrations for editorial publications, children’s books, book covers, packaging and selected cultural or commercial projects. Every illustration is developed specifically for the story, audience and medium.

 

What is your illustration style?

My work combines delicate linework, subtle colour palettes and poetic visual storytelling with a touch of surrealism. I enjoy creating illustrations that communicate emotions and ideas while leaving room for interpretation.

 

Do you work with international clients?

I’m based in South Tyrol, Italy, and work with clients internationally. I speak English, German, Italian and Swedish, making collaboration across different markets easy.

 

Do you work with art directors and creative agencies?

Yes. I regularly collaborate with art directors, publishers, agencies and brands. I value clear communication, reliable deadlines and a collaborative process from the first sketches to the final artwork.

 

Can you adapt your style for a project?

While every project is unique, I always stay true to my visual language. I can adjust colour palettes, composition and tone to fit a project while keeping the illustrations recognisably mine.

 

Do you work digitally or traditionally?

I create my illustrations digitally using Procreate and Adobe Illustrator. Throughout the creative process, I enjoy experimenting with traditional techniques such as ink drawing, linocut, watercolour and even handmade tools and brushes. Exploring analogue methods often leads to unexpected ideas and textures that find their way into the final digital artwork.

 

What is your illustration process?

Every project begins with understanding the brief. I create several sketch concepts so we can discuss different ideas and choose the strongest direction before moving on to the final artwork. Once the sketch is approved, I refine the composition and complete the illustration. This collaborative process makes revisions efficient and helps ensure the final illustration meets the project’s goals.

 

How long does a project take?

Timelines depend on the scope of the project and my current availability. While smaller illustration projects can often be completed within a short timeframe, larger commissions such as children’s books naturally require more time. I recommend getting in touch as early as possible, and I’m always happy to discuss schedules before we begin.

 

What makes your illustrations unique?

I love creating illustrations that feel personal. Beyond the brief, I look for the small details that make every story, person or brand unique. Whether it’s a meaningful place, a favourite object, a special pattern or a subtle visual reference, I enjoy weaving these elements naturally into the artwork. I believe these thoughtful touches are what make an illustration feel authentic, memorable and truly one of a kind.

 

Do you illustrate children’s books?

Yes. I enjoy illustrating children’s books for both publishers and independent authors. My goal is to create illustrations that children enjoy returning to – images that support the story, spark curiosity and invite readers to discover something new each time they open the book.

 

Do you license your illustrations?

Yes. Usage rights are agreed individually depending on the project, territory, duration and medium.

 

What files do you deliver?

Depending on the project, I deliver high-resolution PDF, JPG, PNG or vector files. Every artwork is prepared according to your production requirements.

 

How can we work together?

Simply send me an email with a few details about your project and timeline. We’ll then arrange an introductory call to get to know each other and discuss your ideas. After our conversation, I’ll prepare a tailored proposal outlining the scope, timeline and licensing. Once everything is agreed, we can begin.
